Pool Noodle St. Patricks Day Wreath

Have you ever made a wreath with a pool noodle? This clever tutorial will show you how to make a lucky wreath using an Armacell pool noodle. This fun craft will make a wreath to hang in your home.

Materials

  • Pool noodle
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Duct tape
  • Green and gold ribbon
  • Felt or plastic clovers
  • Faux gold coins
  • Assorted greenery sticks, garland, flowers, etc.

Instructions

  1. Start by creating a circle with the pool noodle by bending and securing both ends together with hot glue, pressing and holding for about 3 – 5 minutes. To further secure, wrap duct tape around the seam of the two ends or around the entire wreath.
  2. Wrap the pool noodle wreath with green ribbon and secure with hot glue gun.
  3. Arrange clovers and coins around the wreath.
  4. Using hot glue gun, glue the clovers and coins onto the ribbon covered pool noodle. About a dime sized amount of glue is enough to adhere the items.
  5. Once the items are secure, take greenery sticks, garlands and flowers and arrange them to cover the wreath. Glue greenery onto foam.
  6. Fill in any sparse areas with ribbon and greenery so the entire side of the pool noodle wreath is covered. The back does not need to be covered as it will sit against a wall.
  7. After glue has dried, add a festive ribbon or bow if desired.
  8. Using wire or ribbon, create a loop and glue on the back of the wreath for easy hanging.
