Spread some joy this holiday season with our pool noodles! Foam letters spelling JOY are easy to create as a festive craft that showcases your holiday spirit. Since our pool noodles are water resistant, you can also use these letters outside to share your joy with the neighbors!

• Red or Green Pool Noodles
• Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
• Fishing Line
• Knife or box cutter
• Ruler

1. Create a “J” out of a pool noodle by cutting one in half and bending the top third downward to create a cane-like shape. Flexing the noodle a few times and holding it in this shape for several minutes will help it bend, but not fold. Tie fishing line in a loop around the two side parts of the cane bend and knot securely.
2. Using another pool noodle, create a circle to make an “O”, and secure by using hot glue. Hold for 5 minutes or so to create a good bond.
3. Using a knife or box cutter, create a Y letter by cutting a pool noodle in three pieces. Slice on an angle, making one large piece and two smaller pieces. Using hot glue, press two smaller pieces, angle end down into the large piece, creating a Y.
4. Once the foam letters are dry, take green garland and wrap letters tightly, covering the foam. Secure pieces and ends of garland to pool noodles with hot glue.
