Pool Noodle Candy Cane
Here is a great way to decorate your home for the holidays with pool noodles! Foam candy canes are an easy DIY craft and since they're water resistant, you can place a few outdoors to show your festive holiday spirit.
Materials
- Red Pool Noodles
- White Duct Tape
- Fishing Line
Instructions
- Using an Armacell red pool noodle and white duct tape, create diagonal stripes by winding the white tape around the noodle, leaving approximately two inches of red foam space in-between the tape lines. This will keep your stripes even and a consistent size while you are wrapping the noodles.
- Measure the noodle into three equal parts and bend the top third downward to create a cane-like shape. Flexing the noodle a few times and holding it in this shape for several minutes will help it bend, but not fold.
- Tie the fishing line in a loop around the two side parts of the cane bend. Knot securely. This will ensure that the shape holds and can be used for hanging as well. Presto! You have creat
