Making fun, affordable, and quick decorations that make a big impact is easy when you use Armacell pool noodles. Preferred by crafters around the world, the Armacell pool noodle is a versatile PE foam tube that can be used to make festive decorations like wreaths, door hangers, garlands, stand-alone figures, and much more. Let’s make a hot summer popsicle garland using pool noodles!

Materials

  • 4 Pool Noodles (Any color to match your décor or party!)
  • Safety Gloves
  • Box cutter
  • Bamboo skewer
  • Fishing Line
  • Popsicle Sticks

Instructions

  1. Wearing safety gloves, cut pool noodles into 5 inch lengths using with a box cutter.
  2. Cut thin pieces of leftover pool noodle for spacers if desired.
  3. Apply hot glue to half of the popsicle stick and attach the popsicle stick into the inside of pool noodle.
  4. For double popsicles, apply a thin line of hot glue down the side of one pool noodle popsicle and attach to another pool noodle popsicle. Pro Tip: Use the hot glue gun low heat setting to avoid melting the foam.
  5. Cut a length of fishing line for the garland.
  6. Using the bamboo skewer with the fishing line taped to the end, thread the fishing line through the first popsicle. You can make knots in the line to hold the popsicles in place for even spacing or allow them to move.
  7. Place spacer noodle pieces in-between if desired.
  8. Continue stringing the noodles together until you have a garland of popsicles.
  9. Hang them up and enjoy!
