Our corporate sustainability engagements reflect and will be further aligned with evolving legislative requirements and most recent global initiatives, such as the European Green Deal, EU Taxonomy, COP27 actions and the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). These certifications and infinitives all demand that we deliver a material contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating climate change, protecting biodiversity and human health, and preserving the natural environment.

Obtaining green or wellness building certification is easy with our products and solutions as they positively contribute to and are aligned with the world’s leading sustainability, green, and well-being methods and standards for infrastructure and buildings, such as LEED®, BREEAM®, or WELL™ building standard certifications. Many of our insulation products are also UL GREENGUARD Gold, REACH and RoHS compliant.

Nine years ago, we created Global Armacell Day as the annual opportunity to focus time, energy, and resources to support projects and causes that bring a positive contribution to communities. In 2023, Global Armacell Day addressed the megatrend of energy efficiency, climate change, and our leading contribution to this topic. 

Insulation materials are among the few industrially manufactured products that actually save more energy in the course of their lives than is required for their manufacture. Armacell’s current Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) established that 140 times more energy is saved through the use of ArmaFlex products than is needed for their production, transport, and disposal. Furthermore, ArmaFlex saves 150 times more greenhouse gas emissions than are caused by its production.
