AP ArmaFlex SA (Self-Adhering) and AP ArmaFlex FS SA (Flame & Smoke/Self-Adhering) have all the same great benefits as other AP ArmaFlex products, plus an advanced pressure-sensitive adhesive system that helps eliminate gluing time and installation labor.
AP ArmaFlex, the world’s most recognized brand of closed-cell foam insulation, provides superior protection against thermal losses, condensation and moisture accumulation that leads to mold. It is the ideal choice for insulating large mechanical piping systems. For applications requiring fire and smoke ratings, AP ArmaFlex FS meets ASTM E 84 at 25/50 for 1-1/2” and 2” thicknesses. Both may be used on a variety of curved or flat mechanical surfaces such as large pipe, ducts, tanks and chillers.
