Armacell understands that installing ArmaFlex elastomeric foam involves a different set of skills than hanging fiberglass pipe or board insulation. That’s why we developed the Armacell Qualified Installer Program (AQIP), which combines online courses with expert, hands-on instruction in the installation of elastomeric closed-cell foam.

Insulation contractors from all over North America sign up for these hands-on training clinics, which are taught by an elastomeric foam application specialist. Certified companies learn to:

• Cut, glue, seam, and seal elastomeric foam material
• Custom fabricate fitting covers that fit like a glove
• Use and apply special techniques that have been acquired in a closely supervised, hands-on training experience.

When companies complete the program, they are designated as AQIP certified and their information is added to our qualified installers database so that engineers and construction firms know how to find the most qualified installers in North America.
