Waldrop Mechanical Wins an ABC Eagle Award for Stadium Project that Uses Armaflex
South Carolina-based Waldrop Mechanical Services, a full-service mechanical contracting firm, was recently recognized for its HVAC and Plumbing work on Clemson University’s Memorial Stadium suite renovation in the 2015 Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards sponsored by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas. Waldrop received the Eagle Award – ABC’s highest-level award – in the Specialty Contracting/Mechanical & Plumbing category.
Waldrop Mechanical Services and Dean Hall Insulation (insulation contractor for the Clemson job) are long-time users of closed cell AP Armaflex fiber-free foam insulation. Read more about the project in an Armacell Job Story.
The renovation included the implementation of a new variable refrigerant volume (VRV) system for razor sharp climate control in these spaces as well as press areas and coaches’ boxes. The complex VRV system in Memorial Stadium was insulated with AP Armaflex pipe insulation throughout.
Congrats to Waldrop Mechanical Services and Dean Hall Insulation for the prestigious award and a job well done!
