Luxembourg/Singapore, 22 April 2021 – Armacell, a global leader in energy efficiency, announced today that ArmaGel DT now complies with ASTM C1728 in Type IV, Grade I Category A.

Considered one of the best-performing materials available today, Armacell’s latest innovation is a next generation flexible aerogel blanket used for insulating pipework and equipment in cryogenic and dual-temperature applications with service temperatures ranging from -196 °C (-321 °F) to +250 °C (+482 °F).

ArmaGel DT provides the customer with more choice as this product is available in 5, 10, 15, and 20 mm thicknesses. Thicker blankets offer more insulation coverage per man-hour, improving installation productivity as compared to conventional aerogel insulation. Additionally, ArmaGel DT is highly flexible and can be easily cut to conform to preferred shapes with less wastage.

ArmaGel insulation systems have also been tested to meet all ISO 15665 and Shell DEP acoustic insulation classes, offering a superior combined thermal-acoustic performance in one solution.
