Armacell ArmaSport Turf Underlayment Website and Communications Campaign Win 2017 MarCom Award
Chapel Hill, NC - November 1, 2017 - MarCom Awards announced winners for this year’s international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Armacell earned two awards out of the 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 15 other countries in the 2017 competition.
The new ArmaSport “What’s Under Your Turf?” Sample Kit, Brochure and Ad Campaign won a Platinum MarCom Award, while the new website [www.turf.armacell.us] and Social Media campaign [@ArmaSport] won an Honorable Mention.
Earlier this year, Armacell launched the new campaign targeted at the Designers, Builders, Owners and Landscapers of synthetic turf sportsfields. The goal of the ArmaSport Turf Underlayment communications package was to educate the customer base about the advantages and benefits of products that meet specific requirements of athletic fields and residential multi-use fields. The new tools were developed to quickly ramp up product awareness, solidify brand credibility and provide instant access to product information and samples online.
2017 MarCom Award entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers around the globe. The competition has grown to perhaps one the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals. The Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence.
