Armacell in Spencer, WV Earns SHARP Safety Award

Mebane, NC – Armacell LLC, the maker of Armaflex® foam insulation, is pleased to announce that its Spencer, West Virginia manufacturing facility has been recognized for achieving the prestigious Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) certification from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). SHARP status requires the Lost Workday Incidence Rate (LWDI) and Injury Incidence Rate (IIR) to be below the national average.

With the completion of the Spencer facility, Armacell LLC is now SHARP certified at all of its North American locations: Mebane, NC (both manufacturing plant and corporate offices); Conover, NC; Dallas, GA; South Holland, IL and now Spencer, WV.
